Killer is Still Out There....

Summary of this week´s chapters

Sutton and Garrett were arguing and Garrett brought Thayer into the conversation saying that he liked Sutton but they got into a fight and Thayer ran away. TLG made a camp trip after homecoming, as they were leaving the Twitter twins approached the car and Emma did not wanted them to come but the rest of TLG had invited them without telling Emma. As they were on their way, Lily and Gabi got into a huge fight and Lily decides to take a cab to her house and Gaby goes to camp with TLG. When they arrived, they went hiking and started to play Two Truths and a Lie. We discovered Madeline said something about knowing where Thayer was and why he left but we don't know if that is true or a lie. Charlotte kissed her date, Gaby said something about touching a dead body body but don't know if that is a true or a lie and Emma didn't knew how to lie fast. Gaby tried to make Emma fall hiking but she felt instead!Emma felt lots of guilt since she thought it was her fault. All TLG went searching for Gaby and Emma found her. When Emma supposedly found "Gaby"she found out it was Lily and that she was alone with both Twitter Twins that were her sister's possible killer! Sutton remember what happened after the train prank. They were at the hospital and the doctors said Gaby had a seizure becuase of epilepsy but she is fine and then Lily threatens Sutton with a pay back. All the event with Gaby and Lily was a prank!!! They planned it for weeks so the Twitter were innocent but the killer was still out there! The Twitter Twins entered TLG and went back home but there were so many unanswered questions now like how crashed Emma a light on her head? Lastly, Emma and Ethan talked abou Twitter Twins and knew about a rumor that Sutton killed someone with her car and connects with the car in the impound. Emma heard scaring sounds and went to look and it was.... THAYER!

I think this quote shows the love and care Sutton has for Emma. I also think it shows ow dangerous this siruation was. When I read this I really got into the story. All the readers think of the scenario and everythig. It makes the environment more real and scary.

"He would've done anything for you"(Shepard 245).

I think Emma got really sensitive in this quote and also Sutton. I think If I was Emma I would feel bad and guilty. The autjor does this in a way to show how bad Emma was spending prom.

Final Thoughts

I really enjoyed a lot this book, hope I can read another book like this in the future. I like how the ending was different and surprising. The author really knew how to make a great story with lots of suspense. Hope in another book there will be lots of interesting topics. Really really loved this books,

Homecoming is Going to be BIG

Summary of this week's chapters

Finally the real train prank is known. Gaby gets a seizure after the prank and the ambulance comes. Lili starts attacking Sutton but Sutton gets stressed and dennies the fault to the cops. Lili gets in an argument with Sutton but TLG decide to help Sutton with her lie in the cops report. Back to the story, Emma wakes up on the enfermery because on the homecoming practice a light crashed on her head. Before this happened, Emma noticed a threating message on the board and she believes the Twitter Twin's wrote it and throw the light to her head. Later, Emma and Ethan were looking for clues in mesages and they found out the Twitter Twins had private Twitter account in which they talked to each other but nobody knew about it. Ethan invited soemone else to homecoming instead of Emma since he friendzone him. Emma thought about picking her car from the impound and the Twitter Twins gave her a ride and it was creepy. When she got there it said someone picked her car on August 31 but it obviously was not Sutton or Emma. As the TLG were getting ready for homecoming, the Twitter Twins went to Charlotte's house were they were getting ready. Emma discovered there that the Twins took out their private twitter accounts so she thinks the twins know she knew about the accounts. Emma told Ethan about the accounts. Garrett went to homecoming with Nisha! Emma finds out Madeline once smoke and her father hurt her a lot and this happened on August 31 that's why Madeline called Sutton that night. Emma was very supportive with this and tries to find a solution. Garrett asks Emma to talk and they talk about their break up and he knows about Ethan and Garrett wanted to be with Sutton again but Emma rejected him.

"If there is something wrong with my sister, if she doesn't make it, i'm going to kill you" (Shepard 188). 

This quote really shows how creepy Lili can get with her messages. I think the author made this messageso scary on purpose to later emphasize the idea that the Twitter Twins can be the killers. This also akes the reader inference that the Twitter Twins could be the killers because of what happened to Gabby. Once I read this I could easily make a connection to the threats that the killer gives Emma.

"I didn't want to tell you this when you guys were going out, but I think Garrett dragged you down." (Shepard 236).

I can make a connection to my life with my friends. We always try to make ourselfs feel better and by doing that we tell the truth. We always end up telling the truth to eachother and we try not to keep a lot of secrets with eachother. This quote shows how supportive friends are and I think my friends are the most supportive ones.

Final thoughts

So far I think the real killers are the Twitter Twins but that surprised me a lot, I never thought it was going to be them. I predict the author will give us more clues to find out and be sure who the real killer is. But who knows, maybe that is what the author wants us to believe but is not true. I just hope this time I really get to know who the real killer is! I really want to keep reading to get to know the ending!

More Than One Killer

Summary of this week´s chapters

Emma went to Nisha´s room and found a photo of the tennis team of the "back to school" sleepover Nisha (Sutton's enemy) made and noticed Sutton and Charlotte were missing but after all this Emma found out Nisha was also innocent. The Lying game crew was at Madeline's house preparing the homecoming and they decided to do the theme Titanic. The girls discovered about Ethan so now they think Ethan and Sutton are together since they are going to homecoming together. They also received a twitter from the twitter twins saying mean stuff about TLG (The Lying Game). They decided to do a prank to them in revenge telling them that for the homecomig they had to wear swimsuits but Emma doubted about this prank since she already hurt Gabi on the train prank. Ethan invited Emma to crash to a photography party. Emma was getting to know Ethan and as they were talking they saw Nisha there so they went to talk outside until they talked about their relationship but it got awkard since Emma didn't want to ruin their friendship by being a couple but Ethan didn't thought the same way but they ended being just friends. Emma is ungrounded so she is going to homecoming and she has her phone back. Sutton's parents already know about Garret's breakup with Sutton. Homecoming day came and the TLG were organizing and they tried to make the twitter twins wear swimsuits but they discovered it was a prank so they wore dresses. Emma is really scared since she thinks the twitter twins killed Sutton!

I'm sorry but this is the only thing I thought when Emma and Ethan ended up being friends haha.

I can make a connection to my life with these scene. In here, Emma is cought searching on Nisha's room and she was supposed to not do it. I did the same but I did it on mycousin's room. I can understan Emma's feeling when she got cought because I almost died like she. I thinlk she panicked in the same way I did and did not knew much about what she would do next.

"The pushing heat of the day had broken, and a cool breeze tickled their cheecks" (Shepard 150).

I really like how the author is describing the environment here. I think is so descrptive that you can even get an image on your head. I think that when authors use this kind of language they make the story more interesting and you are more hooked in. I think it gives the reader a clearer idea of the setting which is great!

Final thoughts

I am enjoying this book every time morre because every time it gets better. I want to know if the twitter twins are really the killers and I predict they will be since they are not very friendly right know. I would also like to know more about what was the relationship between the twitter twins and Sutton back then when she was alive. I also thought that if they are the killers then Emma has to have SO much care on what actions she does with them. I also want to know what the train prank is about, I have not forgot it and I really want to know if that is going to be a clue or something.

What Really Happened in That Prank?

Summary of this week´s chapters

On this chapters we find more about the train praink. Gabi(one of the twitter twins) ended up on the hospital after the train prank and also Laurel (Sutton´s adoptive sister) told her something about the real train prank! Sutton´s parents go to the train station because of Emma´s shoplifting and grounding her and not letting her go to the homecoming. Emma was helping Sutton´s dad on the garage and she noticed someone was spying her and she thinks it is the twitter twins (friends of sutton). Ethan and Emma were talking abouth the train prank and they had this crazy idea to go to the neighboors pool and they played marco & polo and they got to know more about each other and they were going to kiss. Laurel spotted Emma and Ethan on the pool but she didn´t thought it was Ethan and then Emma admit it. The Lying game (Sutton´s group of friends) are planning another prank. Madeline is mad with Emma because of what she said about their friend Charlotte. Emma questioned Madeline about the night Sutton was killed and they are innocent.

I infeer Sutton was a bad person back when she was alive. Her friends and her seem like th typical mean girls and everything. They also have The Lying Game in which they make pranks that are not funny at all. I think before she was dead she always made people feel bad. Sutton also seems to be a person that is scary and that no one wants to mess with. 
"Emma went home that day and asked becky what her dad did" (Shepard 76). 
When I read this part of the story I really started realizing how lucky I am to have parents. I can't imagine how my life would be with not even knowing hw they look like. I am also thankful I have good parents and not just any kind of parents. I think Emma was really happy when she replaced Sutton and finally go the feeling of knowing what a parent is.

   Final Thoughts

I reallyyyy want to know what is the real train prank. I predict that Ethan and Emma will kiss and have another secret reunion. I also wonder what is going to happen to the homecoming for Emma? I also predict she will escape. I also got to really know a lot of feelings that Emma has in her new life and all the changes she has experienced.
 

The Lying Game Continues

Never Have I Ever

Summary of this week´s chapters

This time I am reading a book called Never Have I Ever from the series of the Lying Game, I already read one book at the beginning of my blogs and it was called Two Truths and a Lie and it is about the same problem of Sutton´s killer but new events happen. It starts with Emma (Sutton´s twin that pretends to be her) and Sutton´s friends eating at a restaurant and Emma gets a box from a anonymous person saying something about a train prank but we don´t know what that prank is about yet. Later, Emma tries to find clues about the killer with Ethan (Emma´s friend) and they found out Madeline (one of Sutton´s friends) is a suspect and the possible date of the killing could have been August 31. The Lying Game (Emma and Sutton´s friends doing pranks) decided to do a new prank but when Emma mentions something about a train, Sutton´s friends remember the train prank and tell Emma that that prank is not funny. Emma saw her credit account and she noticed there was a purchase on Clique on August 31 and she went there to know about it but Sutton had shoplifted there once so the police arrested Emma. When Emma is on the police station she watches a police report about the train prank and so far it is about Sutton getting their friends on a car stuck on the train tracks without gasoline and a train is coming and almost crashing them but it is a prank from Sutton and all her friends get really mad at her.

I can make a connection with this quote because I am like Sutton when I don't want people to do things like pranks that I am doing. In this quote you can see how bad person Sutton can be. I can infer she is really mean when she wants to.

"Thinking of you! Call when you can. Can't wait to talk!" (Shepard 35).

When Emma got this text from her friend she felt so good. I also feel so nice when a friend text me something like this. When I read this quote I started thinking how much Emma must be missing her old life.

Final Thoughts

I really wanted to read another book from the series of the laying game. Now that I am reading one I am so excited because it is as good as the last one. I hope I can finally know who Sutton's killer is. I predict August 31 will be the date of Sutton[s murder but maybe another character will be the killer. Can't wait to know what is going to happen next!

What Do You Think Happened?

Summary of this week´s chapters

This story is over now! At the end of the chapters, a doctor that was friend of Mia´s parents told all Mia´s relatives to ccome visit her. First goes Adam but the he tells Mia to wait and then Kim goes inside. Mia was considering not staying and she was happy because she would remember Kim´s last memory as one of the best. The last memory Mia has on the story is when her family had like a dinner and they had a lot of fun and then they started to play instruments and Adam and Mia´s father convinced Mia to play the cello with them and it was a special night for her. Later, Adam comes back again to visit Mia and he says his last word but basically he tells Mia to stay. Mia that moment got so tired and could not go any morelike this. She remembered all the love and the strenght Mia´s relatives gave her and the book ends with "Mia?" so is left for the reader to decide the end.

This book deserves a lot of applause. Great book!

Important quotes

"You have a family" (Forman 184).

I think this quote is one of the biggest that show love and support to Mia. When this quote appears, it gives Mia the knowledge that she is not alone. It also tells her that if she decides to stay its not like she is going to end up alone, she has her one family. I think this is the answer to what Mia thought about what will happen if she stayed, she will wake up with no family.

"But if you need me to go away, I´ll do that, too (Forman 193).

This quote shows how Adam also accepts if Mia doesn´t stay. Adam wants more than anything for Mia to stay but I think is so good from his part to accept if she doesn´t want to stay. I think this quote made Mia think a lot harder about her decision. I also think it was a really good thing to say because they don´t pressure Mia with her decision.

Final thoughts

I loved this book so much! I really want to know what haeppened to Mia but the author also wants to know what we think. I really liked how Gayle Forman wrote this book, it was so descriptive and good. I liked a lot how you didn´t knew what could happen it was all surprises. I think I also liked a lot this book because you get to be in Mia´s shoes and think how muvh support and love she gets, it´s amazing.

Will She Stay?

Summary of this week´s chapters

Mia is still in the hospital and she just got worst. Since she figured out that Teddy passed away, she got in healthy problems. She almost died but the doctors saved her. Later her grandparents go visit her and her grandfather leaves the message that gets Mia to know if she is going to stay. He tells Mia is okay if she doesn´t go, is her decision and he is going to support her. This leads Mia into a lot of thinking if she is going to stay or not. Mia remembers when her dad quit his band to takecare of his children´s and Mia asked if he was upset about it and he said no leaving Mia a lesson about decisions. Later, Adam goes and visits Mia and Mia is so happy and Adam tells Mia to please not make him write a song about this which I infer it means to make mia stay and this confuses Mia even more.

"I wonder if every dying person gets to decide whether they stay or go" (Forman 150).

I also have the same wonder as Mia right now. Like Mia gets to decide right now this but what about her parents and Teddy? Did they also decide? I also think this thought might be so important in Mia´s decision to stay or not. I can´t even think how hard thinking about staying might be.

"Sometimes you make choices in life and sometimes choices make you" (Forman 161).

I think this is like a important lesson the author is trying to give the reader. I think is true because the choices you make define the person you want to be. Also I think this quote means like you don´t always get to decide. I think that is something important to know because if you don´t make a decision you have to deal with it, and you should deal with it the best possible.

Final thoughts

I want so much to know what decision is going to make Mia. I am almost finishing the book so I am very excited. I predict Mia won´t stay but I think she will think about it a lot! So far, everyone has giving a lot of support to Mia which is so good and shows the other people personalities. I can´t think of how Mia is going to live her life if she stays.
