Now Everything Makes Sense

Summary of this week´s chapters

They start their trip and everything was perfect and all their schedule was on time. While they were on the road, Lacey and Radar were asleep and Q was driving and Ben was keeping him company and then they saw 2 cows and there was no way out so they thought they were going to crash and die but Ben gets control and saves everyone although Q gets a little injured. On hour 19 of their trip they arrived in NYC. Radar starts to drive really slowly, they see a barn and Q thinks that may be Algoe´s general store and Lacey sees Margo´s car. They enter to the barn and they start to search for her and Ben tells Q she is in a corner, the finally found her! She looked different and she was in a corner writting on her notebook and she did not see them but then Radar said Margo and she was very surpsised like Q. When Margo saw them she didn´t act happy or excited she just acted like nothing happen and that she didn´t care they found her.Lacey and Margo got into a fight because Margo was being mean to her so Lacey, Ben, and Radar went outside but Q stayed and talked to Margo.Margo started to act mean towards Q and again as if she didn´t care he did a lot of work and effort to find her and they got into a fight but then she was sorry she acted that way and were in a good position again. Margo tells Q that what she wrote on her notebook was a story she wrote when she was in fourth grade and admitted she liked Q. Later, Margo explained the reason why she left and all the clues and her trip and everything to Q. At the end, Q and Margo kiss and Margo aks Q to go to NYC with her but he declines, they kiss again and they decide to calñl, message, write etc., to eachother and meet again.

When I read Margo and Q went different ways I thought about this quote.

"We´re standing outside in the parking lot of a single-story motel when the good-byes become unavoidable".

In this part of the story I was really hooked into the book. I couldn´t believe Margo and Q were going to say goodbye. I felt like it happened to me. This also reminds me of a t.v series I watched called The Vampire Diaries. In the series, Damon and Elena have to say goodbye like Margo and Q. It is so emotional because you don´t think that was ever going to happen.

This is the scene of The Vampire Diaries I relate to with Paper Towns.

"I understand now that I can´t be her and she can´t be me".

I really liked here that John Green was very original. Like a lot of books show the couple as if they like common things, like they want what the other ones but not in this book. It is interesting to see how 2 characters that are so opposite are so great together. I really think this made the book so much better. Also, John Green describes what the characters think and want so good that you can really picture them and see them like real people.

Final thougts

I loved this book soooo much. I resally lke how John Green wrote this book it was so good that I could imagine everything being true like a movie. I recomend this book to everyone is a reat book that no one should miss it. Most of all what I really liked was the ending. I liked it so much because it is not the typical ending in which you predict what happens, it surprises you. Like I predicted they would find Marg and go back to their home and Q and Margo would be together and eeverything woulod go back to normal but it was a completely different thing and I got so surprised. Once again, I love the book!!!!

Could it Be Algoe?

Summary of this week´s chapters

Q arrived to the party but Ben was not ready to home so Q waited him. Later, it was 5 am so Q had to take Ben to his house but Ben was really drunk. The next day, Q and Radar were still searching about Margo after Q told him about the new information he discovered at the Troll Holes. The Troll Holes were in a minimall. It was finals week so after that exams day, Q, his friends and Lacey decided to go to the minimall. When they were in the minimall, they saw three people and this people were Gus (who was a segurity guy who has friends with Margo) and two of Gus´ friends. Margo used to break into the minimall before with Gus and his friends and Gus told the guys that Margo used to take pictures, sit down and analyze, write in her notebook etc., about the minimall. Another day, Q, his friends and Angela went to the minimall and they found a map with pins of possible locations that Margo left but they were not exact so finally Q analyzes the map and he gets to the conclusion she might be in NYC. Later, Q, his friends, and Lacey create a groupchat and they were investigating about places in NYC that Margo might have been in but Radar has a prediction she might be in the graduation day. On the graduation day, Q´s parents gave Q a graduation present which was a minivan of his own, he was super excited. He later searched for NYC and he found something about a paper town named Algoe which was a ficticious town with 0 population. There were comments on the page about people who have been in Algoe and Q noticed one comment that said that until June 29 the population would be 1. When Q noticed it was from Margo he was so happy because he knew she was alive and although his graduation was that day, Q went to Algoe in a 24 hour trip in a search of Margo with his friends and Lacey. The first hour they stopped at a gas station to get food and to get the calculations of how much time they had to spend at each stop and things like that for the trip.

"The town was paper, but the memories were not".

I analyzed this quote but I also relate it to my life. I analyzed that its true like things can be fake but what you have lived with them are not. I relate this with my life with people. Like I have experienced having friendships with a lot of fake people but the memories, experiences and lessons I get from them actually teached me something valuable about life. And also not just a lesson but also they showed me someone I don´t want to be and like mistakes I have made. 

"This was the first time in my life that so many things would never happen again".

I can make a connection to something that my brother told me once. When my brother graduated from high school he was so sad. I asked him why he was so sad and he told me that it was so hard to leave something he did almost his entire life every day like to go to school and see his friends and go to class and things like that. He told me to apreciate a lot my years in school because I would later miss them. So when I read this about Q I could really understand how he really felt. 

Final thoughts

The end of this book is so near! I have enjoyed this book so much I can even say is one of my favorites. Although I am very happy because there is still one more adventure before the book ends. I predict that they will find Margo in Algoe and I hope Margo goes back to leave in Orlando. I really want to know what happens next I am so excited!

The True Meaning of a Paper Town

Summary of this week´s chapters

Lacey (Margo´s friend who she thought was awfull) talks to Q and Ben and she ends up going to prom with Ben. Q read the poet from the book that Margo left and she left a clue on Q´s door and it had an adress from the day she left, 8328 bartlesville Avenue, the avenue was a building. It was Q´s chance to see Margo before prom and go to prom with her, that was Q´s dreams. The next day Q and his friends arrived at the adress that was a pseudovision which is a subdivision that is not finished and has been abandoned and it looked like a place to die. They went inside the building and they found a library with some holes that were called Troll Holes. In one of them they found a grafitti on the wall which Q knew it was from Margo that said "You will go to the paper towns and you will never come back." Q started to research about paper towns and he found out a paper town is a pseudivision then he started to look for a list of possible pseudivisions she might be in. Is prom day, Radar and Ben are busy because of prom but Q does not care about prom so he goes to search for Margo and he finds her nailpolish from the night she spent with Q, he also finds some eating bars and a blanket that smelled like Margo so Q was sure Margo was living there on the Troll holes and Q was going to spend the prom night there in the Troll Holes. Q went to the library that was there and found a book that Margo had already read about all the attractions around the world that a person could go to so Q thinks that maybe Margo spent a night there and then hit the road again. Ben calls Q at 3 am to ask him pick him up at a party. Q at first denied but Ben sounded so drunk that Q accepted because he also thought that if Margo was going to the Troll Hole she might have already got there but she didn´t so he went to the party to pick up Ben.

My reaction by how hard Q tries to search for Margo.

Important quotes

"In the end, the rats didn´t matter, not really, because I was in a place where Margo had been alive". 

In this quote what I noticed more was how sweet Q is. He cares so much for Margo is so sweet! Is like he only thinks about her and I think that is what the author is trying to show. The author is using indirect characterization on Q by his actions. By noticing how Q keeps Margo on his mind all day, it shows how romantic he can be.

"I needed to discover what Margo was like when she wasn´t been Margo".

I like this quote because it shows how even Q analyzes everything. He started to understand the poem like not so literal. I think the author made this because he maybe wants the reader to also analyze and not read everything so literal. To be more like Q, to learn a lesson from this book.

Final thoughts

I like so much this book! Is like every week there are new surprises and so much clues that make the book spo interesting. I think is so cool how Margo planned everythingt and every clue so good that you have to think and analyze everything so much. I predict Q will find her with the clues but I thought he was going to find her before prom. I hope this book keeps being so great as is has been so far.

Where is Margo?

Summary of this week´s chapters

Margo and Q started to finish their tasks. Task #8 was leaving a dead fish on Margo´s awfull friend. Task #9 was to shave one eyebrow of Q´s enemy. Task #10 was to go to the top of a big building and see the city and Margo says Orlando is a paper town city. And the last task was to break into Sea World were they danced as Q fell more in love with Margo but as the night ended she says something about missing Q. The next few days, Margo doesn´t asist to school and Q starts to worry and wonder why she is missing. One day, Q goes to the kitchen and finds Margo´s parents and a detective. They tell Q that Margo ran off from home. Margo´s parents tell Q that when Margo ran off her home before she left little clues but they did not exactly said where she was. Another day, Q, Ben, and Radar (Q´s friends) find a poster of Woody Guthrie on Margo´s window. They think is a clue so they go to Margo´s room to keep looking for clues. They find the next clue which was an album with the song "Walt Whitman niece" which leds to the next clue which is a book written by Walt with quotes highlited. Q figures out he has to continue finding this cues to find Margo.

Important quotes

"You see how fake it all is. It´s not even hard enough to be made out of plastic. It´s a paper town."

I like this part because you can think deep about what Margo analyzed from the city. Also, coming from Margo you can infeer she knows and I guess she is tired of things that are like plastic, fake, like people. When I read this I felt like i did understand Margo´s fellings and thoughts. I can make I connection to me because I also see how fake nd plastic things can be and i don´t like when things are like that.

"Margo´s blue blue eyes blinked and she looked impossibly beautiful right then, her jeans wet agains her legs, her face shining in the gray light."

I really like how the author uses imagery here. When I read this part I could picture a Margo in my head and also the scene. The author describes so well that the book comes into live. I also really likje how the author makes Q say this things about Margo because you can see the very romantic part about Q and how he feels about Margo.

Final thoughts

I enjoy so much reading this book because it is full of surprises. I like the part about the clues and I am excited to know what clues Margo has left. I oredict that Q is going to find her but is going to take a lot of time to find her. I hope this book continues to be as good as it is right now.

11 Tasks in One Night

Summary of this week´s chapters

This time I am reading the book called Paper Towns by John Green. So far, this book is amazing and this is what has happened so far. Q (Quentin) is a teen who is the neighboor of the most beautiful and popular girl that is Margo Roth Spiegelmen. They were really close friends when they were little but now that they are seniors they are almost strangers. Prom is coming soon and Q doesn´t have a date and he is in love with Margo but she has a boyfriend (Jason). Even Radar (Q´s friend) has his girlfriend Angela to go to prom with him. One random night, Margo hits Q´s window like she did when they were little. Q was really confused since they were super distanced and Margo told him she has 11 things to do on that night so she asked Q to be his companion and he agreed. The 11 things were for a prank to Jason since he cheated on Margo with her best friend. So we are on task 8 and so far they bought stuff for the prank, embarrased Jason, left a note to Margo´s best friend and Jason,and thanked the one who told Margo about the cheating.

"When you say nasty things about people, you should never say the true ones, because you 
can´t really fully and honest take those back you know?"

I think that what Margo is saying here is right and you can like reflect on the quote. Is like I am getting new learnings from the book and that is great. When Margo says this you can see her personality. You can see that she is original and she has her own beliefs. She reflects on what she says before saying it.

"The way I figure it, everyone gets a miracle."

This is how the book starts and I think this is a really good start. When I read this I thought this book is going to show something about miracles. I agree on this because I also think everyone gets a miracle. Can be small or big but it´s a miracle. I can also make a connection because once my father also told me in life something is our miracle.

I think so far this book is amazing! I am so hocked to this book because is really interesting and is a fun book. I also like it so much since is like about teens life and I understand it and I can make conections. I predict that they will be able to make the 11 tasks but maybe they will get caught making one of them. I can´t wait to keep reading this amazing book!

Killer is Still Out There....

Summary of this week´s chapters

Sutton and Garrett were arguing and Garrett brought Thayer into the conversation saying that he liked Sutton but they got into a fight and Thayer ran away. TLG made a camp trip after homecoming, as they were leaving the Twitter twins approached the car and Emma did not wanted them to come but the rest of TLG had invited them without telling Emma. As they were on their way, Lily and Gabi got into a huge fight and Lily decides to take a cab to her house and Gaby goes to camp with TLG. When they arrived, they went hiking and started to play Two Truths and a Lie. We discovered Madeline said something about knowing where Thayer was and why he left but we don't know if that is true or a lie. Charlotte kissed her date, Gaby said something about touching a dead body body but don't know if that is a true or a lie and Emma didn't knew how to lie fast. Gaby tried to make Emma fall hiking but she felt instead!Emma felt lots of guilt since she thought it was her fault. All TLG went searching for Gaby and Emma found her. When Emma supposedly found "Gaby"she found out it was Lily and that she was alone with both Twitter Twins that were her sister's possible killer! Sutton remember what happened after the train prank. They were at the hospital and the doctors said Gaby had a seizure becuase of epilepsy but she is fine and then Lily threatens Sutton with a pay back. All the event with Gaby and Lily was a prank!!! They planned it for weeks so the Twitter were innocent but the killer was still out there! The Twitter Twins entered TLG and went back home but there were so many unanswered questions now like how crashed Emma a light on her head? Lastly, Emma and Ethan talked abou Twitter Twins and knew about a rumor that Sutton killed someone with her car and connects with the car in the impound. Emma heard scaring sounds and went to look and it was.... THAYER!

"'Run Emma!' I screamed at my sister. "Get out of there!'" (Shepard 269).

I think this quote shows the love and care Sutton has for Emma. I also think it shows ow dangerous this siruation was. When I read this I really got into the story. All the readers think of the scenario and everythig. It makes the environment more real and scary.

"He would've done anything for you"(Shepard 245).

I think Emma got really sensitive in this quote and also Sutton. I think If I was Emma I would feel bad and guilty. The autjor does this in a way to show how bad Emma was spending prom.

Final Thoughts

I really enjoyed a lot this book, hope I can read another book like this in the future. I like how the ending was different and surprising. The author really knew how to make a great story with lots of suspense. Hope in another book there will be lots of interesting topics. Really really loved this books,

Homecoming is Going to be BIG

Summary of this week's chapters

Finally the real train prank is known. Gaby gets a seizure after the prank and the ambulance comes. Lili starts attacking Sutton but Sutton gets stressed and dennies the fault to the cops. Lili gets in an argument with Sutton but TLG decide to help Sutton with her lie in the cops report. Back to the story, Emma wakes up on the enfermery because on the homecoming practice a light crashed on her head. Before this happened, Emma noticed a threating message on the board and she believes the Twitter Twin's wrote it and throw the light to her head. Later, Emma and Ethan were looking for clues in mesages and they found out the Twitter Twins had private Twitter account in which they talked to each other but nobody knew about it. Ethan invited soemone else to homecoming instead of Emma since he friendzone him. Emma thought about picking her car from the impound and the Twitter Twins gave her a ride and it was creepy. When she got there it said someone picked her car on August 31 but it obviously was not Sutton or Emma. As the TLG were getting ready for homecoming, the Twitter Twins went to Charlotte's house were they were getting ready. Emma discovered there that the Twins took out their private twitter accounts so she thinks the twins know she knew about the accounts. Emma told Ethan about the accounts. Garrett went to homecoming with Nisha! Emma finds out Madeline once smoke and her father hurt her a lot and this happened on August 31 that's why Madeline called Sutton that night. Emma was very supportive with this and tries to find a solution. Garrett asks Emma to talk and they talk about their break up and he knows about Ethan and Garrett wanted to be with Sutton again but Emma rejected him.

"If there is something wrong with my sister, if she doesn't make it, i'm going to kill you" (Shepard 188). 

This quote really shows how creepy Lili can get with her messages. I think the author made this messageso scary on purpose to later emphasize the idea that the Twitter Twins can be the killers. This also akes the reader inference that the Twitter Twins could be the killers because of what happened to Gabby. Once I read this I could easily make a connection to the threats that the killer gives Emma.

"I didn't want to tell you this when you guys were going out, but I think Garrett dragged you down." (Shepard 236).

I can make a connection to my life with my friends. We always try to make ourselfs feel better and by doing that we tell the truth. We always end up telling the truth to eachother and we try not to keep a lot of secrets with eachother. This quote shows how supportive friends are and I think my friends are the most supportive ones.

Final thoughts

So far I think the real killers are the Twitter Twins but that surprised me a lot, I never thought it was going to be them. I predict the author will give us more clues to find out and be sure who the real killer is. But who knows, maybe that is what the author wants us to believe but is not true. I just hope this time I really get to know who the real killer is! I really want to keep reading to get to know the ending!
